From Vision to Voice: RS Software at the Forefront of India’s AI Policy Dialogue

RS Software was privileged to be invited to the NASSCOM Roundtable on AI, titled “Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI Policy” a few days back. The session brought together thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners for a focused discussion on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in today’s digital economy.

Anirban Gupta represented RS Software along with representatives from the Government of India’s Digital India and IndiaAI Mission leadership, and key stakeholders from the West Bengal tech community.

The session aimed to promote the adoption and development of the Bhasini and IndiaAI platforms among academia and the tech industry. It was chaired by Shri Amitabh Nag, CEO of Bhasini and Director of the IndiaAI Mission. The session began with a round of introductions, where participants shared insights into their work in AI. This was followed by a live demonstration of the Bhasini platform, showcasing its language technology capabilities.

In his address, Shri Amitabh Nag urged:

• Academia to contribute toward advancing the underlying models and algorithms.
• Industry and tech stakeholders to submit real-world use cases to IndiaAI, enabling the platforms to better align their capabilities with practical needs.

The session concluded with an open Q&A, encouraging collaborative dialogue and feedback from the community.
